Color is a critical element in creating a memorable impression. Color evokes emotion and is rich in symbolism. It can be used to link certain information, providing visual cues for continuity and/or differentiation. The Cargill color palette has been updated to provide a more cohesive range of colors from which to choose when developing communications.

IMPORTANT: The approved CMYK, RGB and HTML simulations listed below may be different from the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM®, and from conversions made by your design software. If changing from PANTONE to CMYK, RGB or HTML (HEX) color values, use the formulations listed below. Please note that the colors displayed on your screen may appear different depending on specific browser and/or monitor settings.

Cargill Logo Colors
Our logo uses “Cargill green” (PANTONE 348) and black (or white when reversed out of a dark background). Cargill Green should only be used in the logo.

Approved Color Palette
The Cargill color palette includes a range of neutral and accent colors. These colors have been selected based on two criteria:
  1. On their capacity for expressing in a broad sense, the personality of Cargill, and
  2. Their ability for visually supporting the Cargill logo without overpowering it.

Which color formulation should you use?
  • For most print applications, use PANTONE or CMYK colors.
  • Approved CMYK color values can be used for print applications if PANTONE colors are not available.
  • Approved RGB color values can be used for on–screen use such as PowerPoint® presentations.*
  • Approved HTML color values can be used for web applications.*

RAL color matches for the Cargill palette
The chart below converts the Cargill PANTONE colors to RAL Design Colors and RAL Classic Colors. The RAL color system is used primarily for painting and manufacturing applications.
