The Cargill logo is the singlemost visible symbol of our company; an intangible, yet vitally important, asset. You can help preserve its value as a brand and trademark with correct and consistent usage.

It is crucial to use the Cargill logo correctly and consistently to ensure the visual impact and overall integrity are not compromised or diluted. Below are lists of DOs and DON’Ts in using the logo, followed by illustrated examples.

  • use only artwork that has been downloaded from this web site.
  • maintain the required clear space around the logo.
  • use the appropriate file format for your specific application.
  • use the logo no smaller than ¾" wide.
DON’T...
  • distort the proportions of the logo.
  • use the logo as a read–through in text.
  • redesign or recreate the logo artwork.
  • enclose the logo within a shape.

Maintain Clear Space
For ultimate visibility and impact, it’s important to retain a designated minimum ‘clear space’ around the logo. This area is designated as being equal to the height of the ‘i’ in the logo. It should never be intersected or intruded upon by any other graphic object or edge.

File Formats
To achieve optimum reproduction quality, please refer to the chart below to determine which file format is best suited to your application. Click below on the format you need or go to the download section.

IMPORTANT: The approved CMYK, RGB and HTML simulations listed on the Color Palette page may be different from the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM®, and from conversions made by your design software. If changing from PANTONE to CMYK, RGB or HTML (HEX) color values, use the formulations listed on the Color Palette page.

The Approved Logo Versions
Four approved versions of the Cargill logo have been created to provide maximum usability across a variety of applications. Printing capability, background colors, textures and patterns will determine which logo you should use. All approved versions are available for download on this site.

Green and black
Use this version whenever possible.
Solid black
Use the solid black version only for applications requiring one– or two–color printing, where the second color is not PANTONE 348.
Green and white
Use the two–color reverse version when the background is dark or black. Check to make sure there is sufficient contrast between the background and the green banner.
Solid white
Use the solid–white version against a dark photo or background when there is insufficient contrast between the green banner and the background.
Distorting
Use caution not to change the proportion of the logo when resizing it in a Microsoft Office file. Click here for directions on how to constrain proportions of images when working in Microsoft Office applications.
