Promotional items are used to build and reinforce the Cargill brand with customers, employees and others, and to build a sense of community and teamwork among Cargill employees and partners. Common promotional items include things like mugs, pens, keychains, desk objects, golf balls, as well as logo apparel. The guidelines for promotional items are the same for the Cargill Brand and all Product Brands. No other product brandmarks are allowed on promotional items.
Always...
- select culturally appropriate items of high–quality and good taste.
- use the approved color logo.
- maintain a minimum clear space around the Cargill logo from any text or graphic elements.
- use logo artwork that has been downloaded from this site.
- use the appropriate file format for your specific application.
- use the Cargill logo at the proper size for your specific application, but no smaller than ¾" wide. The trademark or registration symbol can be omitted in especially small applications.
- apply the Cargill logo to the left chest of a uniform, shirt or jacket, or centered on the front of a hat.
- include only the Cargill logo, unless the merchandise is to be used for a co–sponsored event or program. Do not include any other logo or text on the item. If it is necessary to include a second logo or text, it should be positioned on the opposite side of the item as the Cargill logo, and should command equal or less visual prominence.
See uniforms and apparel for guidelines for applying text along with the Cargill logo.
Logo Color Options
Use the preferred two–color black and green version of the Cargill logo on materials where enough contrast exists between the logo and the background color (white, light and medium tones). You may use the all–black or all–white logo on very light or very dark colored materials, respectively. For a more sophisticated look, you may use a one color, tone–on–tone logo where the difference in tone between the background color and the logo is subtle.
