It’s important that every single interaction with a customer, prospect, or even vendor reinforces the Cargill brand. This includes interactions with items as basic as bills of lading, purchase orders, or scale tickets. The Cargill visual identity should be applied consistently on all internal and external forms. The guidelines for forms are the same for the Cargill Brand and all Product Brands. No other product brandmarks are allowed on forms.

When feasible, the Cargill logo should be reproduced in the approved two color black and green format. All other applications should use the one color (black) logo. All text and other graphical elements must be positioned with a minimum of clear space — at least the size of the “i” in Cargill — away from the Cargill logo. Be sure to provide the reproduction quality logo file, downloaded from this site, to external vendors who produce or print forms.

The Cargill Business Unit, Function Unit or legal entity names* should be the first line in the address block, designated in text only—and not visually tied to the Cargill logo (as was done with the previously used signature lockups).

Before After

Ideally, the address block should be aligned with the left corner of the “i” in Cargill, again with minimum clear space below the logo. If this is not possible, the Business or Function Unit name should still be the first line in the address block, wherever it appears.

On pre–printed forms, the preferred font for Business or Function Unit names and addresses is Helvetica Neue 47 Light Condensed Oblique. However, Arial Italics can be substituted, if the preferred font is not available. The size of the type should not visually compete with the Cargill logo.
